How is the Hoover Repair Club different to the mailing list?

The mailing list will still receive all of the important updates about music, live shows, and pre-sale ticket access. The Hoover Repair Club is for those fans who want to receive more updates, content, and access from the band. It’s for fans who join to be more connected to the band on a deeper level. Think of it as an opportunity to be part of a smaller community that gets additional perks and experiences beyond what everyone on the mailing list receives.

What exactly is Fan Pass and the Hoover Repair Club?

The Hoover Repair Club is our fan community powered by Fan Pass technology. Fan Pass is a digital key that connects to your email address and can be stored in your phone’s wallet. It allows you to unlock exclusive content, merchandise, and experiences both online and at live events.

Is this a paid subscription service?

No! The Hoover Repair Club is free to join. We want to create a space where our most engaged fans can connect more deeply with us without any financial barriers.

What benefits do I get as a Hoover Repair Club member?

Members will get access to exclusive content on our websites, early access to new music, special merchandise items that are only available to club members, discounts at our online store and at shows, and opportunities to attend special events like our upcoming album making-of screening in NYC. You’ll also receive more frequent updates from us with behind-the-scenes content.

How do I join the Hoover Repair Club?

Simply click the “Join the Hoover Repair Club” button in our email, enter your email address, and the 6 digit verification code you receive. Once that’s done you .can also add the pass to your phone’s wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) for easy access.

Will I need to download another app?

No! You don’t need to download any additional apps. The Fan Pass works with your existing wallet on your phone (like Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) and with your email address.

How will you contact me as a Club member?

We’ll send you exclusive updates via email. If you add the pass to your phone, we may occasionally send you push notifications to your device, especially when you’re at one of our events or shows.

What if I’m going to a show – how does Fan Pass work there?

If you have your Fan Pass on your phone, you may receive notifications when you’re at the venue about special opportunities, like discounts at the merch table or surprise acoustic performances. Your pass may also give you access to special areas or experiences at the venue.

If I’m already on the mailing list, do I need to sign up again?

Yes, you’ll need to specifically join the Hoover Repair Club even if you’re already on our mailing list. It’s an additional connection that gives you access to more exclusive content and experiences.

Can I unsubscribe from the Club if I want to?

Of course! You can remove your Fan Pass from your mobile wallet at any time, and we’ll respect your decision. To be removed from the Hoover Repair Club please email [email protected]. You will still receive marketing emails from The Swell Season until you unsubscribe from the main mailing list.
